New years eve poem

Clink clink bang mum was baking in the kitchen, trying to get the pots and pans out. As I was lying on the couch, thinking about all the fun times we are going to have on new year. 

There and then my dad boulted through the door, rips the remote off my hand and start watching his program.

A few hours later we had dinner, pork roast and veggies.” Mmmm Mmmmmm” Mum’s marvelous pavlova with kiwi fruit and strawberries was next on the list. 

Rrrr my stomach rumbles after the big feist. “ Let’s go do fireworks” a random voice appeared out of nowhere, then my sister appeared out of the dark shadows. We went outside, lit the fireworks and boom off they went. We all shouted,

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE!
